This is one of the programe that i had found to modifying the led colour, but its just on window not applicable on mac, so this will be my second option to choose it. Disadvantages, if i need to use this program, i need to bypassed 3 program to make my project work, so this is not so considerate as it will affect the processor speed and make my real-time lagging.

Boblight is a opensource program to imitate the philipps ambilight. It expects a controller with three individual LED outputs (left, top, right).

This article is using hacking ir controller instead of wifi controller that seems cheapest amont the hardware i found. So this is my 1st option to do it, if i can custom it successfully so it will be an advantage for me to continuing the following steps - kinect camera setup.
